What gets read
- A supply deal with a named plant. A first project in a new country. A grid bottleneck someone actually solved, or a public fight over a site.

Pocket PR is a cleantech PR agency for energy manufacturers and climate tech startups, run by a remote team in Kyiv and Brno.
We write for the trade editors and buyers who decide whether a project is real.
That means knowing how a megawatt gets financed and permitted before anyone announces it, and checking every claim before a journalist sees it.

Energy news moves slower than software news and carries more legal weight.
One announcement can reach an investor and a union in the same week.
A cleantech PR agency turns the project into a story both of them can trust.

Energy reporters follow money and megawatts, and they rarely skip a fight over a site. A sharp pitch puts the number first.
It names the counterparty so the story can be checked and gives a date for the next step, for example first delivery.
Podcasts like Catalyst want an engineer who can explain why a technology got cheaper.

Start with the facts and keep the quotes for last, so a trade title can run the story without calling anyone.
Before a show, editors get an embargoed briefing two to three weeks ahead rather than on the opening morning. The release follows four steps.
Quotes come after that, with photos of real hardware rather than stock turbines.

Energy communications sit under rules most PR teams never meet, and we check every release against them.
The fix for green claims happens to read better too.
A measurement with its test standard beats an adjective, and every figure gets an evidence file behind it.
A US energy buyer wants three answers before reading further, so a market entry release gives them in its first paragraph.
The wire release is the easy part. The real work comes after it, pitching trade titles and the regional business journals that buyers read.

Energy PR usually starts project by project.
A single announcement needs a release with a claims check behind it, then a media list and the follow-up.
A program adds a monthly trade press rhythm around the shows. Pocket PR plans begin from $390 a month.
For a multi-country program, talk to the team under NDA first and we scope it on a call.
Market rates are on how much PR costs.

A release built on the numbers trade editors check first, megawatts and delivery dates. It is cleared against REMIT and your investor calendar before it goes out.
Every green or efficiency claim is tested against the EU directive and the CMA code before a journalist sees it. The evidence file sits ready in case one asks.
One pitch a month to energy trade titles, timed to the big shows such as Enlit. When a site can be shown, we add an interview with the engineer who built it.

Questions
Yes. Offtakers and prices often stay confidential until financial close, so a mutual NDA comes before any document changes hands.
Only with clear wording. We say what is signed and what still waits for a permit or a grid connection. Reporters check both. So do the neighbours.
A release aimed at consumers falls under the EU and UK green claims rules. Words like green or eco-friendly need specific proof, so we swap them for a measured number, such as tonnes of CO2 avoided per year.
Yes. A startup usually needs pilot results in the press before a funding round. A manufacturer needs its contracts covered in show season. The media lists differ while the claims discipline stays the same.
Yes. Ukrainian titles get the pitch in Ukrainian. Polish and Czech energy desks get it in English, which most of them accept from international companies. If a story needs a local-language version, it comes from your own native-speaking spokesperson or a translator you approve. Our lead expert runs communications at RSE, an energy engineering company, by her own profile.
Next step
Defense, energy and large programs. A mutual NDA before any confidential brief.
